Dr. Joel Blomberg grew up in Rib Lake, a small town in northern Wisconsin. As a kid he was diagnosed with a severe scoliosis and was told he would need a brace and a possible back surgery down the road. His parents took him to a chiropractor for a second opinion and 6 months later his scoliosis was completely resolved. It was this experience that set Dr. Joel on the road to becoming a chiropractor. His goal is to help others in the same way that he was. He strives to assist each and every patient he sees to overcome whatever injuries and obstacles they are dealing with in their journey to health. He has been practicing in Pine City since 2020 and lives near Wyoming MN with his wife Becky and two little boys, Nels and Walter. In his free time Dr. Joel enjoys hunting, fishing and all things outdoors.

Dr. Grace Asplin is a dedicated chiropractor with a strong foundation in sports rehabilitation and a passion for women's health and pregnancy care. She earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, MN, where she emphasized sports rehabilitation. She developed a special interest in women’s health and pregnancy care, dedicating significant time to supporting women through these important life stages.  Dr. Asplin holds a bachelor's degree in neuroscience and biology from Wisconsin Lutheran College in Milwaukee, WI. Her deep-rooted curiosity about the human body and a desire to help others led her to chiropractic care, where she finds fulfillment in healing through a holistic, homeopathic approach.  Outside the clinic, Dr. Asplin enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, paddleboarding in the summer, horseback riding, and embracing the outdoors whenever she can.  She is thrilled to be part of the team at Northern Roots Chiropractic in Pine City, MN
